"Don't cry because it's over.  Smile because it happened." ~Dr. Seuss ~

Wouldn't it be perfect if each and everyday, you could bring a sense of  serenity into every moment of your life?  Life would be much easier if every morning you awakened feeling rested, revived, and ready to greet the sun.  What if you exhibited a patient presence and an overwhelmingly calm demeanor with each experience you encountered in each day?  How would your life be different if you weren't hurried or stressed about what happened yesterday or what may happen tomorrow?

After filing my cup with a relaxing vacation with my family, I am full of energy and a revived perspective on my daily existence.  After eight hours of sleep nightly, and batteries recharged, the creative juices in my mind are flowing freely, and our bonds as a family have been forever strengthened.

Is it unrealistic to maintain a vacation-like tranquility 365 days of the year?  With bills to pay, kids to parent, a household, marriage, and the mundane tasks of daily life to maintain, life can get crazy.  But, if I draw upon this harmonious attitude, my existence will change for the better and all with whom I will come in contact with will reap great benefit.

The true meaning of the practice of Yoga has enabled me to find more joy in each situation and to be more patient with my children and others.  Yoga teaches me to love deeply, give more fully, and accept each day as it is.  Improvement comes each and every day and I know that the journey is never ending.

Vacation is a gift but the best gift is to embrace each moment as it comes.  Vacations end, kids grow, life changes.
Instead of crying because it's over, simply SMILE because it happened.  Thank you Dr. Seuss!

What can you let go of in your life?  How can you enhance your life by accepting where you are?

Open your eyes and hearts and bask in the beauty of life.

Upside Down and Inside Out. Explore your life in any given moment Upside Down and from the Inside Out. Namaste'.
